Difference between Oreck Super Deluxe BB880,BB1200DB,and BB900-DGR Commercial XL Pro 5 canister vacuum


These 3 Oreck machines are similar, all of them are corded and bagged. They are light, weighs about 5 pounds. They do not have wheels, if you want to move it around, you have to use the handle or the included shoulder strap. They have a vacuum port as well as a blower port for cleaning areas like stairs, bookshelves, and drapes.
There is no product info about the BB880 on the Oreck website, but you can find it on sites like amazon.com and walmart.com. About the Cord.
The Super Deluxe Compact canister vacuum BB880 and BB1200 have a 20 foot cord which is black, whereas the Commercial XL Pro 5 BB900-DGR has a longer cord which is 30 foot long and in orange color. According to user review, the Commercial one has more heavy duty cord.

Cord Storage
The BB880 and BB900-DGR have the cord wrap on the side of the canister, whereas the BB1200DB has the cord located on bottom of the canister.

Warranty
The BB880 and BB1200DB are designed for household use, they carry a 3 year warranty for residential use. Whereas the BB900-DGR carries one year commercial warranty.

Attachments.
There is some slight difference on the included attachments, make sure what they includes before making a purchase.

Size
The Shark Rotator Powered Lift Away is full size while the DuoClean Speed is compact size.
What makes the full size bulkier is mainly because of the bigger lift away pod and the wider cleaning path width. The Rotator has a dust container holds up to 1.5 dry quarts while the DuoClean Speed has a dust cup capacity of 0.9 dry quarts. The Rotator cleaning path width is 10.5 inches versus 8.5 inches on the DuoClean Speed. The Rotator weighs about 16.7 lbs while the DuoClean Spead weighs 14.5 lbs.

Brushrolls
The DuoClean Speed has 2 brusrolls – a bristle brush to clean carpets, and a soft brushroll to pull in particles and clean hard floors. While the Rotator has only bristle brushroll. When cleaning any blockage, the brushrolls on the DuoClean Speed can be removed while the Rotator brushroll is not removable.

Hard Floor Cleaning Mode
Both of them have 3 preset cleaning modes – Thick Carpet/Area Rug, Carpet/Low Pile, Hard Floor. When setting to Hard Floor mode, the DuoClean Speed brushrolls still spins slowly while the Rotator brushroll does not spin. That means the DuoClean Spead does not allow you use suction only while using the powered nozzle.

LED lights
The DuoClean Speed has lights on the nozzle while the Rotator has lights on nozzle and handle, the LED lights on handle is helpful when cleaning with the accessories for above floor cleaning, especially cleaning those dark spots.

Power Button Location
The DuoClean Speed has the power switch on the vacuum pod while the Rotator has the power button on the handle.

Both of these two series vacuum cleaners have detachable vacuum pod for portable cleaning, features swivel steering, Anti-Allergen Complete Seal Technology and a HEPA filter to trap dust and allergens inside the vacuum.

The Hoover SH40075 can hold 2.5 liters while the SH40070 has a bin capacity of 1.98 liters.

Cord Length
The Hoover SH40075 has a longer cord which is 20 feet versus 17 feet on the SH40070.

Cleaning Path

Amps
According to hoover.com, both of them have 12 amps motor, but some users say that the SH40070 motor is 11 amps.
