Compare Dyson DC56 vs V6 what’s the difference?

We will discuss the difference between Dyson DC56 and V6 within this post.
Dyson V6 vs DC56

Motor Type: Dyson Digital Motor V2 vs V6
The Dyson Hard DC56 use Dyson Digital Motor V2 whereas the V6 use the Dyson Digital Motor V6.
Dyson Digital Motor V2 – 200W, is a single-phase brushless DC motor, spins up to 104,000 revolutions per minute
Dyson Digital Motor V6 – 350W, this power-dense motor uses digital pulse technology and a neodymium magnet to spin at up to 110,000 rpm. I

Cyclone Technology: Root Cyclone technology vs 2 Tier Radial Cyclones
The DC56 features Root Cyclone technology whereas the V6 use 2 Tier Radial Cyclones.
DC56’s Root Cyclone technology has 6 cyclones that generate high centrifugal forces, up to 70,000 times the force of gravity, that cause dust and particles to be flung out of the airflow and into the bin.
The V6’s 2 Tier Radial cyclones has 15 cyclones, arranged across two tiers, work in parallel to increase airflow and capture more fine dust.

DC56 does not use HEPA filter.
V6 feature whole machine HEPA filtration which captures particles as small as 0.3 microns that makes the air that leaves the machine is cleaner than the air you breathe.

Suction Power
Both have dual power modes, the V6 generate more suction power in max power mode.
DC56 – 28 AW in normal mode and 65 AW in max power mode
V6 – 28 AW in normal mode and 100 AW in max power mode

Battery Life
DC56 – 15 minutes in normal mode, or 6 minutes in max power mode
V6 – 20 minutes in normal mode, or 6 minutes in max power mode

Bin Capacity
Both have a small dust chamber.
DC56 holds up to 0.09 gallons versus 0.11 gallons on the V6.

Cleaner Head Options
DC56 has only one cleaner head option – the Double-edge cleaner head, it combines suction and a wet wipe, this cleaner head is designed specifically for cleaning hard floor.
