The Proscenic M6 Pro, M7 Pro, M8 Pro and M8 are 2-in-1 floor cleaning robots, they can vacuum, mop, or vacuum and mop synchronously. They works similarly, however, there are some differences between them:

  • Auto Empty
    The M7 Pro and M8 Pro feature the Auto-Empty. The auto empty base will automatically remove dust from the robot’s dust bin, you don’t have to empty the bin for up to 60 days.
    Please note that the M8 Pro comes with the auto empty dust collector whereas the M7 Pro does NOT. For M7 Pro, you have to buy the base separately. On the other side, the M6 Pro and M8 do not support the auto empty base.
  • Dust Bin/Water Tank
    The M6 Pro, M8 Pro and M8 come with a 2-in-1 dust/water container, part of the container for collecting dust and another part for mopping. They have electric water tank and programmed drainage system, the water speed can be adjusted.

  • They cannot be used to clean carpet or area rugs.
  • They are powered by 18V 2000mAh lithium ion battery. The battery pack is not detachable. So you cannot buy an extra battery to swap and extend the run time.
  • Charging time is approximately 4 hours, run time is approximately 20 minutes.
  • All of them come with charging adapter, storage tray and trial size floor cleaning formula.
  • There are many people wondering if they can use their own cleaning solution. Bissell indicated clearly that this may void the warranty. So, if you don’t care the warranty, it should be fine to use solution that can be used on sealed hard floors. But if you need the warranty, you can only use Bissell SpinWave cordless formula in your machine.
  • They do not have a separate tank to hold the detergent only. You will have to pour detergent into the clean water tank before cleaning.
