Difference between Shark S7201 and S7001 Scrubbing and Sanitizing Hard Floor Steam Mop:

The S7201 has Steam Blaster to apply extra steam to help remove stubborn stains whereas the S7001 does not have the Steam Blaster.

The S7201 has fingertip control to easily change cleaning modes and trigger steam blast whereas the control on the S7001 is located at the middle part of steamer body.

The S7201 water capacity is 320 ml (10.8 oz.) versus 410 ml (13.9 oz.) on the S7001.

According to Shark, the S7201 cleans up to 3x better stuck on stain removal versus the traditional steam Mop S1000 whereas the S7001 cleans up to 2x better stuck on stain removal.

  • Steam Modes
    The Shark S7000 and S7000AMZ have 2 steam modes: LIGHT and NORMAL, whereas the S7001 has 3 modes: LIGHT, NORMAL and DEEP.
    In these modes, the amount of steam will be produced and the rotating speed of the pads are different.
    Commonly,
    LIGHT mode is for cleaning delicate surfaces and quick cleanups, the steam produced is the least, and the pads spin in the slowest speed;
    NORMAL mode is for everyday use, more steam will be produced than in LIGHT mode, and the pads spin faster;
