Difference between NV752 and NV581/NV583/NV581Q?

Navigator Powered Lift Away vs Rotator Powered Lift Away

Both of the Shark Rotator Powered Lift-Away and Shark Navigator Powered Lift-Away are Powered Lift Away models.
The “Powered Lift Away” vacuum cleaners not only allow you to lift away the canister pod, but also allow you to use the motorized nozzle in lift away mode to vacuum under those hard to reach areas such as under the low profile furniture.

Here we will discuss some differences between the Rotator Powered Lift Away, such as the TruePet NV752, and Navigator Powered Lift Away, such as the NV583 and NV581.

Power Control
The Rotator Powered Lift Away has the Power Switch on the handle whereas the Navigator Powered Lift Away has the Power Switch on the top of the canister.
So the Rotator fingertip power button provides more convenient control than the Navigator.

Floor Selector and Suction Control
The Navigator has 2 surface options – Hard Floor and Carpet, it also has a Suction Control slider that allows you to adjust the suction power depending on your preference.
Whereas the Rotator has 3 surface options – Hard Floor, Carpet/Low Pile, and Thick Carpet/Area Rug. But it does not offer a Suction Control to let user get variable suction power. The 3 preset floor modes offer different suction level, the Hard Floor generates best suction, and the Thick Carpet/Area Rug produce low suction.

LED Light on Handle
The Rotator has LED light on the handle which the Navigator does not have.

According to user manual, the Rotator carries a 7 year limited warranty versus 5 year on the Navigator.

Cord Length
The Rotator has a 30 ft. cord versus 25 ft. on the Navigator.

Bin Capacity
According to the FAQs on the Shark website, the Rotator can holds 3.3 dry quarts versus 2.6 dry quarts on the Navigator.
