The 655 uses the Dirt Detect Technology Series 1 whereas the 770 uses the Dirt Detect Technology Series 2.

Does the Xlife Extended Life Battery of the 655 fit in the body of the 770(the one with the Advanced Power System?
I recently purchased a 655 pet series from Costco. I love it except the fact that it will not clean my rug. It will turn away when it gets to the edge & if I put it on the rug it stops & asks to be moved to a new location. I will have to return it because this rug is the main recent for the purchase. Can u offer some explanation?
