Proscenic M6 Pro vs M7 Pro vs M8 Pro vs M8 what’s the difference?

The Proscenic M6 Pro, M7 Pro, M8 Pro and M8 are 2-in-1 floor cleaning robots, they can vacuum, mop, or vacuum and mop synchronously. They works similarly, however, there are some differences between them:

  • Auto Empty
    The M7 Pro and M8 Pro feature the Auto-Empty. The auto empty base will automatically remove dust from the robot’s dust bin, you don’t have to empty the bin for up to 60 days.
    Please note that the M8 Pro comes with the auto empty dust collector whereas the M7 Pro does NOT. For M7 Pro, you have to buy the base separately. On the other side, the M6 Pro and M8 do not support the auto empty base.
  • Dust Bin/Water Tank
    The M6 Pro, M8 Pro and M8 come with a 2-in-1 dust/water container, part of the container for collecting dust and another part for mopping. They have electric water tank and programmed drainage system, the water speed can be adjusted.
    The dust and water capacity of M6 Pro are 300ml and 180ml, while the M8 Pro and M8 have 280ml dust capacity and 300ml water capacity.
    Whereas the M7 Pro comes with a separate dust bin (600ml) and a water tank (110ml), and the water tank of the M7 Pro is not electronically controlled. You cannot control the dripping speed of the water.
  • Battery
    The M6 Pro and M8 has a 33w, 14.8v, 3200mAh lithium ion battery,
    M7 Pro and M8 Pro have a 50w, 14.4v, 5200mAh battery.
  • Run Time
    The M7 Pro and M8 Pro have a larger capacity lithium ion battery pack, they runs longer than the M6 Pro and M8 per charge.
    The M6 Pro runs up to 110 minutes.
    M7 Pro runs up to 270 minutes.
    M8 Pro runs up to 250 minutes.
    M8 runs up to 120 minutes.
  • Charge Time
    Since M7 Pro and M8 Pro have larger capacity battery, they require more time for a full charge.
    The M6 Pro and M8 takes 3-5 hours to fully charged, whereas the M7 Pro and M8 Pro takes about 5.5 hours.
  • Max Suction
    The M8 and M8 Pro generate more powerful Max suction.
    The Max suction of the M6 Pro is 2600Pa, M7 Pro is 2700Pa, M8 Pro is 3000Pa, and M8 also creates a maximum suction of 3000Pa.
  • Side Brush
    The M7 Pro has two side brushes whereas the others have one side brush on body.
  • Dimensions
    The M6 Pro is shorter than the other models.
  • Price
    On official site, the M8 Pro is priced near $600, much more expensive than the other models, about $190 – $260 more expensive.
    The M8 is the cheapest one, a bit over $300.

If you have enough budget, the M8 Pro which equipped with the Auto Empty and comes with the auto empty dust collector is a good choice; if you want one with separate dust bin and non electric water tank, then have a look at the M7 Pro; if you want a cheap one, try the M8 or the M6 Pro.

  • Do they work for carpets?
    According to Proscenic, they only work for low pile carpets, but not for high pile or shag carpets.
  • Do they support 5G WiFi?
    No. They only work with 2.4G.
  • Do they work without WiFi?
    Yes, but you cannot use those functions that require the WiFi.
  • Do they remember where they stopped?
    Yes, they can continue cleaning where left.
  • Can you set different schedule for different rooms?
    Yes.
