What’s the difference between Lefant F1 vs U180?

The main difference between Lefant F1 and U180 vacuum and mop robots are as follows:

  • Suction Only vs Rotating Brush
The Lefant F1 has no brushroll, but has a suction port at the bottom, whereas the U180 equipped with a floating main rolling brush which self-adjusts to adapt to different floor types. Suction only design will eliminate wrapping hair problems.
  • Mopping
The U180 has a 160ml water tank whereas the F1 does not have a water tank.
So, how does the F1 mop without the water tank?
You just wet the mopping pad and then attach it to the bracket.
  • Dust Bin Capacity
    The F1 has a 600ml dust cup whereas the U180 has a 500ml bin.
  • Auto Boost Intellect Technology
Lefant U180 equipped with Auto Boost Intellect Technology which enables it automatically increases suction power from 2200Pa to 3200pa in seconds when moving from hard floors to carpeted surfaces for deeper cleaning.
  • Max Suction
The F1 can generate up to 4000Pa suction power whereas the max suction power of U180 is 3200Pa.
  • Max Run Time
The F1 runs up to 200 minutes while the U180 runs up to 150 minutes.
  • Size
The F1 is 2.71-inch in height whereas the U180 is 3.1-inch tall.
  • Remote Control
The U180 comes with a remote control whereas the F1does not include.
The remote control is helpful if you do not have WiFi or App.
  • Dust Bin Design
The F1 has a clear dust bin which you can see through from the top of the robot, lets you know what it picks up and how full it is.
For the U180, you cannot see through from the top, because it has a cover which is not transparent.
  • Freemove Technology
The F1 features Freemove 3.0 whereas the U180 features Freemove 2.0.

Some more information:

  • Do they map your home?
They can just create a real time map that shows you where it cleaned, however, they do not create a interactive map for you to use to get them clean selective areas or stop them from entering restricted zones.
  • Do they support virtual wall?
Unlike the Lefant M210,M210B,M213 and M213S, the F1 and U180 support magnetic tape.
They come with magnetic strip that you can use to stop them from going into restricted area.
However, there is no way to set barriers in App because they do not create a map for interactive use.
  • Will they work without WiFi?
Yes. However, without the WiFi and remote control, limited functions can be used.
  • Do they recognize carpets while mopping and stay away from carpeted surfaces?
    No.
You’d better use magnetic tape to stop them from moving onto carpets while using the mopping kit.
  • Do they use lidar or camera?
    No.
  • They use HEPA filter.
  • They have two side brushes.
  • They have anti collision and anti falling sensors.
  • They can go back to the charging base to recharge themselves, but they will not continue cleaning where they left off.
  • They can climb up to 15 degrees.
  • They are backed by one year limited warranty.
