Want to know the difference between Hoover C2401 and Hoover C2401-010?

We contacted Hoover customer support yesterday via their website www.Hoover.com to ask how the C2401 differs from C2401-010, here’s their reply:
“The difference between these two models is the diameter of the tools. The C2401 has 1.5-inch and the C2401-010 has 1.25-inch diameter.”

They did not mention anything else. So, the diameter of the tools might be the biggest difference.

But when we dig into the details, it turns out that they have some more differences.
If you look at the pictures they provide on the product detail pages, you can find that the tools they come with are different, especially the metal wands.

As you can see on the images above,
1) the metal wands on the C2401 is curved while the aluminum wands on C2401-010 is straight.
2) it seems that the C2401 comes with 2 floor tools, at hoover.com product page, it indicates that one is a 14″ Floor Tool, and one is a 14″ All Purpose Floor Tool, while the C2401-010 has only one narrower 11″ Turbo Floor Tool.
3) from the pictures we can also find that the C2401 comes with a longer crevice tool than the C2401-010.

Based on user reviews, another difference is that the C2401-010 uses friction fit, this can cause the attachments falling off when in use. Whereas the C2401 does not have this problem, since the end of its curved aluminum wands feature a tightening mechanism to stop the attachments from falling off, and keep them locked in place securely.

Both Hoover SH40060 and SH40080 are bagless canister vacuum cleaners, the difference between them are:

The SH40080 has a cord length of 21 ft while the SH40060 has a 17 ft power cord.

Warranty:
The SH40080 is backed up with a 3 year limited warranty while the SH40060 carries one year limited warranty.

Color:
The Hoover SH40060 is mainly Billowy Blue Metallic and black while the SH40080 is mainly black and red.

Price: SH40060 is cheaper.

We contacted Shark customer support yesterday to ask what is the difference between Shark Lift Around Vacuum model# NP320, NP318, and NP319, here is their answer:

“These are all the same unit, the differences being the accessories included. The accessories will vary with each place of purchase.”

It seems that they all come with the detachable tool caddy, dusting brush, upholstery brush, crevice tool, flexible hose, telescopic tube, and the shoulder strap.

The manuals indicate:
NP318 has all the tools mentioned above.
Except for the above tools, NP319 also has a power brush.
Except for the above tools, NP320 also comes with a power brush, a straight suction floor tool, and a floor kit handle.

The information is just for your reference, please make sure what attachments the unit comes with before buying by asking the seller.
