Looking for Low Noise Vacuum Cleaners?

Vacuum cleaners play an important part in our daily life, it helps us get a cleaner home. However, it also has disadvantages. The biggest one might be the noise it creates. Generally speaking, the noise that a vacuum creates while it is working ranges from 70 to 85 decibel.
Commonly, while watching TV at home, the noise level is about 60 to 70db;
at library, the noise level is about 40db;
normal conversation noise level is about 50db.
From the above info, we can imagine that the vacuum noise level is beyond many people’s ‘normal tolerability’.

So, is there a solution to the annoying vacuum noise?
Many people like to wear earplugs while using the vacuum. But how about getting vacuum cleaners with low noise level? Or a vacuum runs by itself while you are not at home, so you won’t even hear that noise?
Yes, the answer is Robotic Vacuum Cleaner.
Vacuum robots are relatively quiet comparing to traditional vacuum cleaners. Let’s take (#ad) iRobot Roomba 880 for example. Its noise level is about 65db, that’s much lower than that a traditional vacuum cleaner creates. If you still are not satisfied with its noise level, these robot vacuum cleaners have one feature that will interest you – the schedule function. You can set it to run at any time you are not at home, so you won’t even hear any vacuum noise. And you get clean floors when you come home.

5, Has the ability of cleaning hard floors, carpets, area rugs.
6, Has side brush to clean edges and corners.
7, Will not enter the areas that are restricted.
8, Clean from room to room.

However, it also have some apparent drawbacks.
1, It does not have the ability to handle above floor cleaning.

3, It is a little pricey compared to traditional vacuum.

All in all, for those who hate the annoying vacuum noise and do not care about the cost, this type of low db vacuum cleaners are worth a try. And if you are a busy man that have no time to do home cleaning, the robot vacuum is a must have little tool, you will find it a huge time saver.
