The only difference between eureka 96H and 96HX is that the 96HX comes with an additional filter, that means the 96HX comes with 2 filters while the 96H comes with 1 filter. These 2 models use the STK Dust Cup Filter 61544A which is priced at $4.69 on eureka.com. Thus, the 96HX is a bit more expensive than the 96H. Eureka recommend to replace the filter every 6 – 12 month. If you need the extra filter, you can buy the 96HX. Otherwise, buy the 96H instead. But we suggest you to check the prices before buying to get a better deal.

This is the key difference between these 2 versions, the DC59 Motorhead features a direct-drive motor in the brush bar that delivers 75% more power than DC59 Animal. Thus, it might be a better choice for cleaning carpets/area rugs.

The DC59 Motorhead has a 24 minute running time while the Animal allows 26 minutes of cleaning time.

These 2 vacuum cleaners are bagless and cordless. Hoover Air Cordless is an upright while the DC59 is a 2 in 1 (stick and handheld) vacuum.
Advantages and disadvantages:
Dyson DC59 is more compact and lighter, easier to carry around and get into tight areas, also has a wall mount for neat storage. But it is way more expensive than the Hoover.
Hoover Air Cordless series 3.0 BH50140 is cheaper, includes 2 batteries to provide much longer battery life. It has wider cleaner head, larger dust container, and also features headlight to help clean dark spots that the DC59 does not include. But it is heavier, larger, and isn’t as versatile as Dyson DC59.
