What’s the difference between Shark IX141 vs UZ155?

The Shark IX141 Pet Cordless Stick Vacuum and Shark UZ155 Pet Cordless Stick Vacuum are successor of the Shark Rocket cordless series. They are battery powered stick and handheld 2-in-1 vacuum cleaners.

  • The main difference between Shark Ix141 and UZ155 is the brushroll design.
    The Shark Ix141 uses traditional bristle brushroll whereas the UZ155 uses self cleaning brushroll with Powerfins.
    The PowerFins use flexible silicone fins to replace bristle brush, dig deep into carpets and directly engage floors. According to Shark, it’s designed to pick up more hair versus Shark bristle nozzles.
    Additionally, the UZ155 equipped with self cleaning brushroll which lessen hair wrap issues.
  • The color is another difference between them.
    The Ix141 is in Grey/Iris whereas the UZ155 is Grey/Green.

The Bissell SpinWave 28599, SpinWave Hard Floor Expert 3115 and SpinWave Pet 3347 are 2-in-1 robotic mop and vacuum. According to my research online, they are the same robot with different accessories and accent color.

The Bissell SpinWave basic 28599 comes with scrubby mop pads and a trial-size bottle of multi surface formula;

the SpinWave Hard Floor Expert 3115 comes with Hard Floor Expert Mop Pads and a trial-size bottle of Wood Floor Formula;

the SpinWave Pet 3347 comes with scrubby mop pads, a trial-size bottle of pet natural multi surface formula and use scented filter to freshen.

All of them come with replacement mop pads, filter and edge cleaning brushes.

If you are deciding between them, just buy the one with the lowest price. Accessories can be purchased separately.

  • Do they come with a remote control?
    No. You have to download and install Bissell Connect App to control.
  • Do they map your house?
    No. They do not have radar or cameras, or anything else to map your home.
  • Do the support magnetic strip?
    No, they don’t.

  • Are they compatible with Alexa or Google home?

  • Do they vacuum and mop at the same time?
    When use the Dry Vacuum mode, you have to remove the mop tank; when use Mop mode, you have to detach the dirt bin. So, you cannot use the vacuum and mop mode simultaneously. However, when in Mop mode, the SpinWave Robot will also sweep and collect a limited amount of dry debris.
  • Do they avoid carpets and area rugs without wetting them?
    According to Bissell, these robots equipped with Soft Surface Avoidance Sensor that help them automatically avoid carpets and area rugs while mopping.
  • Do they pick up water?
    No. They just mop.
  • Do they empty automatically?
    No.
  • Will they continue cleaning where they left off?
    No.
  • Do they work without WiFi?
    Yes, but you can only start or stop it.
    Without WiFi and App, you cannot schedule it or change settings.

The S7201 has Steam Blaster to apply extra steam to help remove stubborn stains whereas the S7001 does not have the Steam Blaster.

The S7201 has fingertip control to easily change cleaning modes and trigger steam blast whereas the control on the S7001 is located at the middle part of steamer body.

Water Capacity
The S7201 water capacity is 320 ml (10.8 oz.) versus 410 ml (13.9 oz.) on the S7001.

According to Shark, the S7201 cleans up to 3x better stuck on stain removal versus the traditional steam Mop S1000 whereas the S7001 cleans up to 2x better stuck on stain removal.

The difference between Shark S7000, S7000AMZ and S7001 hard floor steam mops are as follows:

  • Steam Modes
    The Shark S7000 and S7000AMZ have 2 steam modes: LIGHT and NORMAL, whereas the S7001 has 3 modes: LIGHT, NORMAL and DEEP.
    In these modes, the amount of steam will be produced and the rotating speed of the pads are different.
