Hoover Windtunnel 2 vs 3 what’s the difference?

I think many people were wondering what was the difference between Hoover Windtunnel 2 and 3 just like me. Because Hoover do not provide any comparison information on their website. However, if you read their product description carefully, you will find something is different between these 2 Windtunnel technology.

“WindTunnel® 2 Technology creates two channels of suction to lift and remove surface debris and deep down embedded dirt.”

“WindTunnel® 3 Technology creates three channels of suction to lift and remove surface debris and deep down embedded dirt.”

So, you can see that the difference is the amounts of channels of suction they generate, WindTunnel® 3 creates one more channel of suction.

Is the WindTunnel® 3 better than the Windtunnel 2? Who knows. Maybe you can contact Hoover to get more details, here is the link to contact them https://hoover.com/contact/, you can leave a text message there or call them.

Hoover C2401 vs Hoover C2401-010 what’s the difference?

Want to know the difference between Hoover C2401 and Hoover C2401-010?
Can’t make a purchase decision between these 2 Hoover Commercial Back Pack vacuum cleaners?

If yes, let’s see if we can give you a little help on this. Keep reading below for more information.

We contacted Hoover customer support yesterday via their website www.Hoover.com to ask how the C2401 differs from C2401-010, here’s their reply:
“The difference between these two models is the diameter of the tools. The C2401 has 1.5-inch and the C2401-010 has 1.25-inch diameter.”

They did not mention anything else. So, the diameter of the tools might be the biggest difference.

But when we dig into the details, it turns out that they have some more differences.
If you look at the pictures they provide on the product detail pages, you can find that the tools they come with are different, especially the metal wands.

Here are the product images from Amazon:

Hoover C2401 vs C2401-010
images from manufacturer

As you can see on the images above,
1) the metal wands on the C2401 is curved while the aluminum wands on C2401-010 is straight.
2) it seems that the C2401 comes with 2 floor tools, at hoover.com product page, it indicates that one is a 14″ Floor Tool, and one is a 14″ All Purpose Floor Tool, while the C2401-010 has only one narrower 11″ Turbo Floor Tool.
3) from the pictures we can also find that the C2401 comes with a longer crevice tool than the C2401-010.

Based on user reviews, another difference is that the C2401-010 uses friction fit, this can cause the attachments falling off when in use. Whereas the C2401 does not have this problem, since the end of its curved aluminum wands feature a tightening mechanism to stop the attachments from falling off, and keep them locked in place securely.

The similarities:
Backpack design with shoulder straps for easy carrying.
With its transparent dome lid, you can check the collected debris any time you wish.
Includes HEPA filter to make air fresher by capturing over 99.9% of tiny particles as small as 0.3 microns in size
Backed up with 2 year commercial warranty.
Have pretty long power cord: 48 feet in length, allows you to clean around without changing outlets frequently.
8.5 amp motor to generate suction.
Bagged, use Hoover “BP” type replacement bags.

Please share comparison info here if you know more difference between Hoover C2401-010 and C2401.
