Does the 2.0 come with the hard floor brush roll?
From what I have read, you do not use the brush roll on a hard surface floor since it tends to scatter dirt particles. You typically switch off the brush roll on hard surface flooring.
Just replaced an expensive Dyson cordless vacuum from Wal- Mart that cost over $200 and only held a battery charge for 20 minutes and hand to be charged 3.5 hours to allow the vacuum to run another 20 minutes. Ridiculous! No extra battery nothing on the outside of the item to warn the buyer of limitations!
Instead got a Hoover upright cordless for $95 from Wal-Mart with 2 lithium batteries and very satisfied with purchase so far.
Dyson is not worth it!
