Pet Stain Eraser
Among these different mini stain removal machines, the Pet Stain Eraser is a bit different from the others.

The old models use stationary brush while the new Pet Stain Eraser PowerBrush version can use powered rotating brush or stationary brush.
The biggest Pro of this handheld carpet extractor definitely is the cordless feature, especially for those who prefer a no cord portable machine. However, many users report that this one is easy to have leaking issues and has weak suction to pull up all the liquid. Some leakage problem may be caused by using it at a incorrect position. To prevent leaking, you should ensure the machine is always in a horizontal or in an upright position. This is the only series that have 2 cleaning modes: Manual cleaning and Hands Free cleaning.
Its automatic cleaning cycle has two options: Quick Clean or Deep Clean. When sellecting the automatic cleaning mode, you get the jobs done hands free. You do not have to use the hand tool to scrub the stains, instead, you press a button to select which cleaning cycle, Quick Clean
or Deep Clean, you would like to use. The machine will automatically spray, brush and suction the soiled area.
When selecting the manual mode, you use the hose with a stain removal hand tool to spray, scrub, and suck up the solution manually.
If you are tired of scrubbing on your hands and knees, then you will be interested in this Bissell SpotBot. With the hands free mode, you just place it over the stain, set it and walk away, and then let it clean the stain for you. However, when using the hands free mode, it can not be used to clean upholstery or auto seats or similar surfaces. You have to use it on a level surface.

Little Green and SpotClean
The Little Green series and SpotClean series have some similar models. For the similar models, you can pick the one with color you like, or one with lower price from the two series.
Both of these two series have different models such as the ProHeat model and Pro model.
Based on users reviews, the SpotClean Pro is one that deserves a close look. It is more powerful than most other models, has a 5.7 amps motor while most others have a 3 amps motor. And it has a 0.75-gallon tank, much larger than some other models which only have a 37-ounce or 48-ounce tank.

whereas the new version Pet Stain Eraser PowerBrush 2842 and PowerBrush Plus 2837 are almost the same.

Apart from the shape, the main difference between the old version and new version is:

They can be categorized into two different machines.
The SpotClean ProHeat 2694 and Pet 2513W are different from the other two: SpotClean Professional 3624/3194 and Pet Pro 2458, while the standard 2694 and Pet 2513W are almost identical to each other, the Pro and Pet Pro are almost the same.

Bissell SpotClean ProHeat 2694/Pet 2513W vs Pro/Pet Pro

  • The ProHeat/ProHeat Pet have a different shape from the pro and pet pro.
  • The ProHeat/ProHeat Pet feature the HeatWave technology. Many people think that the HeatWave means there is a heater inside the machine. NO. It has no heater to warm up the water, the HeatWave is something that use the heat generated by the motor to help maintain the water temperature while you are cleaning with this spot cleaner machine.
  • The ProHeat/ProHeat Pet are smaller when compared to the pro and pet pro, the tank capacity is only 37 ounces, much smaller than the tank on the other two which have a capacity of 96 ounces. Smaller tank means you need to fill and empty the tank more frequently.
  • The ProHeat/ProHeat Pet are lighter, weighs 9.2 lbs versus 13.25 lbs of the pro and pet pro. So it takes less effort to carry it around.
  • The ProHeat/ProHeat Pet have a shorter power cord which is 15-foot long versus 20-foot on the pro and pet pro. So it may require you to switch outlets more often.
  • It has 2.3 amps motor while the other two have 5.7 amps motor.

These machines do NOT have the HeatWave feature.
They are very similar except for small cosmetic difference and included accessories.

  • The Pro 3624 is Black, 3194 is Bossanova Blue, whereas the Pet Pro is Grapevine Purple and Black.

Overall, if you want a smaller one with HeatWave technology, buy the Bissell SpotClean ProHeat 2694 or Pet 2513W; if you want a more powerful one with larger tanks and longer cord, consider the SpotClean Professional 3624/3194 or Pet Pro 2458.     stone.

    According to Shark, you cannot use them on unsealed wood, unglazed ceramic floors, or any surfaces that have been treated with wax, since the sheen may be removed by the heat and steam action.

    All of then use only water, the manuals state that users cannot add cleaning solutions, scented perfumes, oils or any other chemicals to the water used in these mops, because this may damage the unit or make it unsafe for use. And for people who live in a hard water area, using distilled water will be better than using tap water.

    In short,

    The differences between the Shark Steam Mop S1000, S1000a, S1000wm is where they are sold and the amounts of pads that come with the units. Otherwise, they are the same.

    • S1000, sold at several retailers, such as Amazon and Target, comes with 2 Dirt Grip Pads.
    • S1000a, sold at Amazon.com, comes with 2 Dirt Grip Pads.
    • S1000wm, sold at Walmart.com, comes with 1 Dirt Grip Pad. Since it only includes one pad, its price usually is lower.

    The Shark Steam Mops are designed for sealed hard floor steaming. They sanitize floors chemical free, because they use water only, the water tank holds up to 375 ml (12.6 fl. oz.). You push and pull the unit to generate steam while mopping. They are corded units, have a 18-foot power cord.

    How to use:
    You fill the water tank with distilled water or tap water.
    Then plug the unit into an outlet.
    It takes about 30 seconds for the mop to heat up and the steam to be ready.
    You use a pumping action to release steam, this is done by pushing and pulling the mop. This also allows you to customize the amount of steam you want. If you want more steam for tough grease and grime, just pump the handle in downward motion a few more times to generate additional steam.
    If you want to sanitize the floor, you have to wait for 3 minutes to get it ready. If it’s not hot enough, you may have to wait for another couple of minutes.
